Future of Work
Employee Engagement Study
Overview
In early 2022, a global genealogy company released a policy stating that their employees can choose where they work: in an office, at home near an office, or in a remote location. During this time, the future of the company’s offices remained uncertain and unsaid while leadership observed how and why they were being used.
6 months into the policy, they sought to evaluate the impact and implications of the policy. They engaged Rapt Studio to conduct a remote engagement study to understand employee sentiment and answer:
How connected do employees feel to their team?
How connected do employees feel to the company?
How can the company better support the workforce?
The findings were anonymized and complied into a findings report that highlighted key themes and potential paths to action. The executive People Experience team used the report to build a roadmap that addressed areas of opportunity.
Role
As lead strategist and the primary facilitator, I created the research plan, led 20+ hours of engagement sessions with a cross-section of the company, analyzed findings, and delivered an insights and recommendations report. Behind the scenes, I supported business development by shaping the proposal/scope documents and supporting client pitches.
